The Culture Moves Europe programme's third call for residency hosts is still open until 15 May 2024. It supports legal entities in hosting a residency project with up to five participating artists and cultural professionals coming from other Creative Europe countries.
Legal entities must:
• be a non-profit organisation, NGO, public body, foundation , company, self-employed person, etc;
• be legally registered and based in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries;
• be active in one of the following sectors: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts or visual arts;
• have the capacity (i.e. facilities, services, mentorship, staff) to implement the project;
• submit a project proposal, if selected, the future hosts must then define and present personal details of participants, itineraries and precise dates of the residency.
The Residency Action of Culture Moves Europe is divided into three duration categories, and the selection is estimated as follows:
- Short-term: from 22 to 60 days - approximately 70%
- Medium-term: from 61 to 120 days - approximately 22%
- Long-term: from 121 to 180 days - approximately 8%
In case of a successful application, Culture Moves Europe decides the granted sum individually, taking into account the travelled distance and living circumstances like family or disability, which lead to top-ups to the grant.
