Symposium "Dislocating Literature" (Sweden)

07.05.2011 | Register until 13 May for this literary exchange taking place from 19 to 20 May at Södertörn University Campus in Flemingsberg!

This symposium on "Trans-national Literature and the Directions of Literary Studies in the Baltic Sea Region" wants to discuss literature that deals with geographical as well as conceptual border crossings within the Baltic Sea Region. Apart from that, intersections between literature and history will make up a key aspect of the symposium.

The event is open for scholars, students and journalists interested in the topic and will be separated in sessions dealing with dislocation and minority as well as sound and language.

Participants speaking at the symposium will be Aris Fioretos (Professor at Södertörn University, Sweden), Sheila Ghose (Assistant Professor at Södertörn University, Sweden), Eneken Laanes (Senior Research Fellow at Under and Tuglas Literature Centre) and Stefan Jonsson (Associate Professor at Södertörn University, Sweden)

Baltic Comic Exhibition

ARS BALTICA presents an exhibition of comics created during the ARS BALTICA accredited Baltic Comic workshop. The exhibition which will take place within the event "Langer Tag der Kultur" can be seen in Rendsburg on 1 June 2013.
