The binational project Vekse/Wirk is looking for contributions from the Danish-German border region to enter the first crossborder innovation challenge. The competition is all about sustainable developments and the challenges that arise with them for cities and communities.
You can hand in a brand new idea you plan to develop and implement or a mature project that is not older than five years. The submitted project will be evaluated by, ecological sustainability, social benefit(s), innovative character, and scaling potential.
Deadline for the call is May 3st and registration for the 2019 call is open for individuals, project groups, startups or companies from the cities and regions of Kiel, Lübeck, Kolding, and Roskilde. With a successful contribution, you can receive a row of supportive benefits such as:
· Official crossborder innovation award as nominee and/or winner
· Visibility and coverage via binational showrooms
· Free co-working infrastructure
· Establishing funding for prototype development or market entrance
