European Commission Pilot Project – Maker’s Mobility, Deadline August 12th

The European Commission is looking for projects in order to test and pilot programmes that will boost the mobility of makers.

The European Commission is looking for projects in order to test and pilot programmes that will boost the mobility of makers. The pilot project is created with the aim to develop a European Framework which will enable mobility and exchange of this growing sector of the creative and cultural industries.

The initiative is reacting to the progresses and the needs of the maker-movement, creative hubs and fab-labs. The main objective of the pilot project is to define and test policies and actions supporting mobility and the exchange of experiences between the cultural and creative industries, creative hubs, maker-spaces, fab-labs as well a formal and non-formal learning in a cross-sectoral way.  

From the application one single project will be chosen. The length of the project shall be 18 months and it will begin at the start of 2020.  A maximum amount of €350,000 is allocated to the development of an action addressing the specific objective.
