International Coproduction Fund Goethe Institut, Deadline October 15th

19.09.2019 |

Since 2016 the International Coproduction Fund of the Goethe Institut has successfully funded coproductions in the fields of theatre, dance, music and performance art. The next round of calls will open on October 15th.

The call is open again to the areas of the performing arts including music. Hybrid and interdisciplinary formats as well as the utilization of digital media may be a central part. The International Coproduction Fund is dedicated and open to professional artists and ensembles abroad and in Germany, which demonstrably lack resources to realize their coproduction project on their own.

The aim of the fund is to back the unrestricted international and intercultural exchange of artists and their ideas.

The joint application must be submitted by the foreign partner (living and working abroad). It should demonstrate that good working contacts already exist between the partners. The amount of funding requested should not exceed €25,000.  Projects between German and non-European partners, in particular from transition countries, are preferred.
