The next application round of the Nordic Culture Point is going to open soon: The Culture and Art Programme focuses on Nordic cooperation within art and culture. Applications from all areas of art and culture in all phases of the project will be accepted. They can be preliminary works, productions, presentations as well as the dissemination of creations.
It also possible to apply for support of projects that develop skills within the area of art and culture, for example the creation of meeting places between artists/cultural bodies and the public or organising discussions and debates or seminars and workshops.
Depending on the total budget of the project the Culture and Art Programme offers either full funding or co-financing. Co-financing is considered a key part of the project’s conditions.
Projects can be granted:
• up to EUR 7,000 with full financing
• up to EUR 40,000 with at least 30% co-financing
• up to EUR 100,000 with at least 50% co-financing
The programme is open to everyone active within the field of art and culture. The application has to guarantee the cooperation of a minimum of three countries, of which two are Nordic, that is, either Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, the Åland Islands, the Faroe Islands and/or Greenland. Applicants can be individuals, groups as well as organisations, institutions and companies.
Applications will be assessed by the criteria of Nordic dimension, cooperation, quality, sustainability as well as the consideration of the goals of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ document “Strategy for Nordic Cultural Co-operation 2013–2020. Deadline for applications is September 19th.
