Some of Latvia’s best designers, along with a strong representation of foreign designers, will be on display for the next season’s collections launch. Riga Fashion Week has created a strong presence for Latvian designers and contributed to increased exposure of and interest in the Latvian fashion industry.
Each year, Riga Fashion Week provides a credible and supportive platform for local couturiers and up and coming local designers to showcase their talents and creative ideas. Many designers and brands were spotted as new talents at Riga Fashion Week and are now household names in Latvia.
A number of brands will showcase the new collections for the 2018 spring summer season, including Anna Led, Atis Artemjevs, Dace Bahmann, Katya Katya, Natalija Jansone, Nóló, One Wolf and Talented. Children’s clothing collections will also be on show, from the likes of Aristocrat Kids and Paade Mode.
During Riga Fashion Week, there will be two days – Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th – dedicated to the 3rd international Lingerie Industry Forum. Attendees will include manufacturers, buyers and media who will come together to network and discuss opportunities around what is already a strong industry in Latvia – lingerie manufacturing.
Riga Fashion week will be held from Tuesday 24th October to Saturday the 28th October. It will be held at various locations around Riga. For more information about the events and the venues see the online programme here.
