The Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival's "Summer of Opportunities" offers around 100 activities during the festival period in July and August 2020. These include 20 radio programmes, film formats on television or the Internet and 12 podcasts recorded without an audience. Open to the public are the five tours of the Musikfest-Trecker with 19 stops in public places and 31 concerts with artists such as Christoph Eschenbach, Justus Frantz, Avi Avital, Ulrich Tukur and Thomas Hengelbrock with the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble. A live stream of a concert with portrait artist Xavier de Maistre and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra will be available on 6th July on ARTE Concert.
