The 1st International Children’s Culture Forum will be held in the city of Tampere, Finland. Registration is now open! Among the questions that will be debated are: Is culture and arts education inclusive? How do we implement children’s cultural rights in different countries? What does the future of children’s culture and arts education look like?
Titled ‘Everybody’s Business – Inclusion in Culture and Arts Education and Implementation of Children’s Cultural Rights’ the forum wants to widen international co-operation and aims at developing the understanding of children’s rights and their role in a well-functioning society.
Keynote speakers will be Dr Charlotte Svendler Nielsen from the University of Copenhagen as well as Dr Anne Bamford form the University of the Arts London and director at the International Research Agency and the Education Commission.
The forums parallel sessions will deal with the implementation of children’s cultural rights, inclusion in arts and culture as well as the international co-operation in the field of children’s culture and arts education and/or the role of children’s culture in the European capitals of culture.
The forum will take place from September 30th to October 1st, 2019 in Tampere, Finland. Registration is now open on the website.
