The market square in Eutin will be the central location from this Friday 18th May until Monday 21st May for the 29th annual BluesBaltica festival. The award winning festival is known for its rich programme of music from across the Baltic region and will keep attendees thoroughly entertained with 4 days of concerts and jam sessions.
Almost 400 Musicians from nearly a dozen different countries will perform to around 380,000 people across the 4 day event. The festival embraces the traditional blues, swing blues, funk, southern style, boogie woogie, roots, rhythmn'n'blues, bluegrass, Texas blues and more. It encourages young people to experience music they might not normally listen to and welcomes blues fans of all persuasions to enjoy and educate the younger generation.
Attending artists will represent both the traditional and contemporary forms of blues music. Highlights of the programme include Josh Miller and Bad Mules (USA/FR), Blues Junkers (PL), The Johnny Max Band (CAN), Paragraph 8ight (DK) and the Danny Bryant Band (UK) to name a few.
