‘Brokering Intercultural Exchange’, an exciting research network exploring the role of arts and cultural management, is looking for participants for its Winter School. The three-day event will take place from November 27th to 29th in the heart of Berlin.
The course is open to Master and Ph.D. students of the arts and cultural management. To apply hand in your CV as well as a purpose of statement letter of maximum 600 words until August 16th.
The Winter School will raise new insights regarding the relationship of the profession of arts and cultural management to the wider socio-political issues of cultural rights, particularly cultural inequality, inclusion and exclusion within the context of globalisation and migration. There will be a special focus on participatory arts projects and the responsibility of arts and cultural managers within transitioning societies. Excursions to selected arts institutions in Berlin will be a vital part of the programme.
The programme is free for the selected participants. Travel costs as well as accommodation needs to be covered by the participants. The jury who will select the participants consists of Prof. Dr. Raphaela Henze, MBA (Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences), Dr. Antonio Cuyler (Florida State University) and Silvana Naguib (MitOst e.V.)
