BSSSC Annual Conference Potsdam

13.09.2017 |

The 25th annual BSSSC conference will be held next week on September 20th – 22nd in Potsdam, Germany. The conference is held every year, and allows for the sharing of ideas and experiences amongst those living and developing the Baltic Sea region.

The BSSSC annual conference is the primary event for the Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation (BSSSC), along with the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. Regional partners and interested parties have the opportunity at the conference to share and learn from each other about the work being done in the region to support and further develop its economic and cultural strengths and possibilities.

This year’s conference is structured around the theme “Cohesion = togetherness. People working together across borders in the Baltic Sea Region". The programme includes panel sessions with significant regional representatives, thematic workshops, presentations, panel debates and networking opportunities.

The conference also includes annual business for the BSSSC, as well as presentations from partner regions and discussions and guidance around current projects.

The location for the conference is chosen on a rotational basis with host cities usually being regional representatives. This year’s conference will take place in Potsdam in the state of Brandenburg in the north east of Germany. Attendees range from local government representatives to members from EU institutions as well as representatives from NGOs and other organisations with a regional development focus.

The BSSSC Annual Conference Potsdam will be held from Wednesday 20th of September to Friday 22nd of September in Potsdam, Germany. More information about the conference can be found here on their website.
