Nordic Baltic Festival Platform: Call for Festival Pitches from the Russian Federation, Deadline August 1st

The Nordic Baltic Festival Platform (NBFP) wants to strengthen the ties between festivals from Russia and the Nordic-Baltic countries. The 1stCall for Festival Pitches from the Russian Federation is a great change to bring festivals from these countries together.

All arts & culture festivals from the Russian Federation who wish to work closer together with festivals in the Nordic-Baltic Region or are already collaborating in one way or the other can apply for this open call.

The aim of the call isto create new and long lasting partnerships in order to foster the exchange of practices and artistic ideas. From the applications five winners will be selected, who will get the chance to pitch their festivals and collaboration ideas at the annual NBFP Arts Festival. The festival will take place on November 7th-8thin Liepāja, Latvia.

The NBFP will reimburse the costs of travel for one representative of each of the chosen festival. The selected festivals will also obtain guidance and counselling-mentoring from members of the NBFP working group. Deadline for applications is August 1st. Here are all the regularitiesof the call.

The NBFP is a platform for arts festivals in the Nordic-Baltic area. It aims to foster cultural cooperation in the region by enhancing the number and strength of connections, the capacity and visibility of those festivals. The Platform is open to festivals across the arts sector.
