Cultural practitioners, artists, architects and designers worldwide are responding to massive environmental changes and global warming. The Prince Claus Fund is reacting to this development and supports initiatives that enable local communities as well as global institutions to engage with the threatening changes of our environment through contemporary artistic and cultural interventions.
The Prince Claus Fund encourages the arts and culture to create responses. A call for proposal supports projects and initiatives from Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean. The Fund is looking for new ideas that challenge perceptions, question habits and thus offer new, radical and transdisciplinary perspectives.
The Prince Claus Fund together with Goethe-Institut will fund projects within the financial range of € 15,000 to € 20,000. The deadline for submissions is June 14th2019, 17h Amsterdam Time. An application form can be found on the website. The Prince Claus Fund is a global leader in supporting independent cultural initiatives of the highest quality with a broad social impact.
