The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Trondheim welcomes you to a conference from 5 to 7 May that marks the culmination of a research project entitled "Transcultural Aesthetics. Contemporary Literature and Media Culture".
Affiliated with the Department of Scandinavian Studies and Comparative Literature (INL) at the NTNU and sponsored by The Research Council of Norway and NTNU, this project was initiated with the aim of contributing insight into transmedial or transaesthetic literary phenomena and developing new analytic strategies.
Keynote Speakers will be W.J.T. Mitchell (University of Chicago), D. N. Rodowick (Havard), Jørgen Bruhn (Linneaus University in Växjö), James Lull (San Jose State University) and Ina Blom (University of Oslo).
The online registration deadline is 28 February 2011.
For students, there is a reduction on the conference fee.
