The Creative Business Network invites young start-ups to participate in their new online Creative Business Academy for Africa & Europe (CBA) for free. In the CBA you will learn how to use your tools and knowledge to develop business strategies that will help your start-up in the future as well as internationalization, Legal Issues, international private right (IPR), market analysis, trend forecasts and promotion. There will be one-to-one sessions with experts for every participant to get direct feedback.
The CBA takes place between 19 November and 12 December 2020 every Thursday afternoon from 4pm to 8:30pm CET and every Saturday morning from 9am to 1:30pm CET. Every participating start-up needs one representative who speaks and understands English who participates at the academy. This is important because the academy will be held only in English.
Some requirements have to be fulfilled for a participation. The start-ups have to have the will to internationalize and to be located in a country that is in the list of CBA from Africa or Europe like Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Albania, Austria or Azerbaijan. You can find the list on CBA’s homepage. The deadline for applications is 16 November 2020.
The CBA is an idea from the Creative Business Network, an organisation that supports the creative industries for changing the world and impacting the global economy and global culture.
"Culture includes not only culture and arts, but also the way of life and system of values. In this sense culture becomes the major power for intellectual renewal and human perfection." (European Council Report on European Cultural Policy)
