Creative Europe Desk Kultur are looking for a keynote which acknowledges the realities of today and the EU cultural policy but which is visionary enough to suggest a new direction. The keynote can refer to current discussions from the European CCS – such as Gender Equality, Green New Deal, Digitization, new MFF, New Agenda for Culture etc. – but this is not a must! Artistic input is welcomed. The keynote will be held in English and should not be longer than 15 minutes.
Interested parties can apply by sending a short description of personal background and sketch the idea for the keynote (max. 1 page or video max. 2 minutes). A reference (youtube link, conference programme, reference letter etc.) which shows that you already presented in English is also needed.
The conference will take place on 8 October between 16:30 to 19:30h (CET) in Bonn, Germany in the context of Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The conference will bring together experts from Europe and focus on the support measures during and after Covid-19 but also on the new programme cycle, especially focusing on Creative Europe, Horizon Europe and the European Structural Funds. The event will be streamed and adresses national and local policy makers and cultural operators from Europe. If possible, the keynote will be presented on the spot but can also be recorded beforehand. Remuneration is upon negotiation.
The open call deadline is 6 September. More information can be found here.
