EU-funded Research and Innovation – Survey online until September 8th!

04.09.2019 |

Currently, the Commission of the European Union is preparing the implementation of Horizon Europe, the successor of Horizon 2020. This next and ambitious EU research and innovation programme has a proposed budget of €100 billion. In the process the Commission is looking for your input in the process.

The Commission has launched an online consultation to collect answers to questions like: What do you think are the most pressing challenges that EU-funded research and innovation should tackle? What are the most important impacts – scientific, technological, economic, societal – that EU-funded research and innovation should target?

The consultation will collect input from across Europe and beyond. The inputs received will inform the work to prepare a ‘Strategic Plan’ for Horizon Europe, which will then guide the work programmes and calls for proposals for Horizon Europe’s first four years (2021-2024).

The Commission invites anyone with an interest in future EU research and innovation priorities, anywhere in the world, to participate in the consultation, which will close on 8 September 2019.
