Forum attendees will analyze and discuss solutions to these three questions: What are the openings for green growth and resource efficiency in the Baltic Sea Region, how can economic sectors in the BSR reduce the effect that their activities have on an already fragile environment, and how can the BSR become a world-class model of sustainable growth?
The Europe 2020 strategy to achieve smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the BSR, will be supported through this forum, along with the varied perspectives of BSR participants in relation to the EUSBSR.
Hosts for this forum are the European Commission, with the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Secretariat of the Council of the Baltic Sea States, and INTERACT Point Turku.
