Helsinki Fest will be celebrated on 21–23 August with three concert specials: the Helsinki Chamber Choir performing Passio by Arvo Pärt on 21 August, an outdoor concert with pop music on 22 August and an extra-long classical music and jazz concert special on 23 August. The three concert specials of Helsinki Fest will be broadcast on Yle Areena and other Yle channels.
Art will add surprises to the cityscape as well, when some of Clear Channel’s digital advertising billboards will be given over to the use of young artists as part of the multiyear co-operation with the Nordic Platform GÁTT network. The Open Art Gallery exhibition will deliver a visual letter to Helsinki from seven different artists during 17– 23 August.
