European artists have the chance to apply to a brand-new funding programme. I-Portunus is a new programme by Creative Europe to make possible short-term (15-85 days) international mobilities for artists residing in a Creative Europe country.
i-Portunus is funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. It serves as a trial on how to best organise and establish cross-border mobility for artists. Such possibilities of mobility will become permanent under the Creative Europe programme for 2021-2027.
i-Portunus will launch three calls. The deadline for the first call is May 15th. The first call is especially dedicated to artists in the fields of performing arts and visual arts. All applications should have a clear objective and the planned project should be part of a plan in the form of personal strategy.
The detailed application process can be found on the i-Portunus webpage. The first call is now launched and deadline is May 15th.
