Jazz Baltica will once again bring together the best and creative in Jazz for extraordinary performance at Timmerdorfer Strand in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

Jazz Baltica will once again bring together the best and creative in Jazz for extraordinary performance at Timmerdorfer Strand in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The festivals venues are right next to the beach – making it one of the outstanding festival locations.

The festival was founded in 1991 in order to create cultural exchange in the Baltic Sea Region. At the festival musicians and young talents play together in changing formations. Since last year the festival takes place right at the Kurpark in Timmendorfer Strand.

Among this year’s highlights are performance by new supetrio Rymden, trumpet player Nils Wülker, pianist Marcin Wasilewski, and the JazzBaltica All Stars – conducted by pianist Julia Hülsmann. Other notable events will be the Dance Night with funk legend Fred Wesley as well as an Afro-Salsa Night with orchestra Baobab. Many of the concerts are already sold out.
