The second edition of LiteratureXchange, a huge Literature festival in Aarhus will take place from 13thto 23rdJune. The programme is growing and consists of about 150 events. They will be held around many different places in the Balticcity ranging from literary dinners to readings in hair salons besides classical readings and debates. The main stages are Godsbanen, Dokk1 and the local libraries.
Literature fans can look forward to events and readings of renowned authors Mario Vargas Llosa (PE), Siri Hustvedt (US), Yasmina Khadra (DZ), Per Petterson (NO), Sjón (IS), Nir Baram (IL), Linda Boström Knausgård (SE), Ilmar Taska (ES), Sergej Lebedev (RU) and many more.
Aarhus will buzz with open-air events and appearance in theatres, rooftops, cafés, and several other institutions. LiteratureXchange presents Danish as well as international authors, talks between researchers and authors about international topics and different offbeat activities. Tickets can be bought through the website and there are updates on the festival’s Facebook page regularly.
