The second call for Mobility Funding by Creative Europe is now online. This call is open to artists and cultural professionals of the performing as well as visual arts. Deadline for applications is June 24th, 2pm Brussels time.
A grant by i-Portunus will provide financial backing to help fund the costs of travel to one or several Creative Europe countries. The mobility must take place between 15 and 85 days in length within this year, between July 25thand December 31st. The stay can be in one country or several, be continuous or segmented.
i-Portunus will support mobilities that are within these objectives: (1) international collaborations (a coproduction or collaboration with an international partner), (2), production-oriented residencies (result of the mobility will be a newly created work), (3) professional development (the mobility includes participations in audition, networking, workshops, etc.) and (4) exhibition (presentation in the destination country).
The call is not only open to individuals but also to groups of up to five people. Applicants must reside in a Creative Europe country. In order to apply an account on the project’s website needs to be opened, a project with a host institution or partner in at least one destination country should be organised and a description of the mobility and its objective should be added.
