MASH! is a Musical-Academy Schleswig-Holstein at Nordkolleg Rendsburg. This year's project of the academy is a piece for music theatre that focuses on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The workshop participants receive tips by three instructors: Claudia Piehl - musicologist, director, singer, musician (idea and overall direction), Bjørn Høgsdal - poetry slamer, lyricist and organizer and Enno Johanssen - composer, songwriter, music producer and music teacher. In addition, Dr. Maria Grewe from RENN.nord - Regional Network Points for Sustainability Strategies - will support the particpants with information and materials on the sustainability goals.

The participants will work on the musical live and online during the summer, the premiere will take place on 17 October at Nordkolleg in Rendsburg. The project is fundded by RENN.nord – Schleswig-Holstein.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an urgent call for action by all countries in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
