The Norwegian Festival of Literature, Norsk Litteraturfestival, is on its way and attracting visitors to enjoy the latest offerings in Norwegian and international literature.

The Norwegian Festival of Literature, Norsk Litteraturfestival, is on its way and attracting visitors to enjoy the latest offerings in Norwegian and international literature. The festival it the largest of its kind in the Nordic countries. It is regularly featuring top-class writers as well as emerging talents.

The festival takes place in Lillehammer and offers programmes and readings for both young and adults. Experience on stage conversations, debates, lectures, readings, award ceremonies, exhibitions, seminars, shows, quizzes and other festivities.

Within the six days of the festival 400 writers and authors from all over the world will take part and 26,000 guests will visit dozens of events. This year’s festival features international renowed authors Leila Slimani, Kamel Daoud, Timothy Snyder, and Han Kang. One of the highlights is full reading of Proust’s Àl la recherche du temps perdu by Norwegian writer Johnny Halberg.

The festival takes place from May 21stto May 26thin Lillehammer and tickets and a full programme are available on the website.
