The scholarship programme “Designers in Residence” addresses young designers working in the fields of jewellery, fashion, accessory and industrial design. Three scholarship holders will be invited to the EMMA – Creative Center Pforzheim for a three – month working phase from 1 April to 30 June 2021.
Fully equipped workplaces in the workshops and accommodation for the period of the scholarship will be available for the scholarship holders use. Residents can also use workshops of Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, if required.
In addition, each scholarship holder receives a monthly support and a reimbursement of the travel expenses for arrival and departure. The results of the work fellowship will be presented in an exhibition at the EMMA – Creative Center Pforzheim in cooperation with the Design Center Baden – Württemberg in Stuttgart, Germany.

The EMMA Creative Center is the central platform for creative people in Pforzheim and the region. The creative center has an area of 3,000 m² and offers workshops and co-working workplaces, ateliers, offices and exhibitions spaces. On the ground floor there is an event area. The EMMA also offers a modern infrastructure.
The Design Center Baden-Württemberg, which is run by the state of Baden-Württemberg, provides information and advice about professional design.
