The international cooperation project Face to Faith wants to examine the meaning of the word 'faith' in societies across Europe. Through conferences, performances and art productions seven project partners like theatres and festivals from the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Italy, Israel, Poland and Ukraine investigate the meaning of faith.
Interested artists from all backgrounds and experts are invited to propose new project ideas related to the topic of faith and to create new perspectives until 7 March 2021. In total seven new performances productions will be realised, with each project partner managing one peformance. These performances will premiere from October 2021 to September 2022. After the premiere the performances will tour through at least one other project partner city.
Production budget will be provided for the selected performances. To achieve a high public awareness to the subject of faith the performances will be framed by three conferences and other public events.
Face to Faith is a larger scale co-operation project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
