i-Portunus is part of the Creative Europe Programme and supports the mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals all over European countries participating in the Creative Europe Programme. From the end of 2020 to the end of 2021 the second phase of i-Portunus is taking place with the aim to answer to the needs and demands of the creative sector by offering a mobility scheme that allows easy and direct applications.
In the course of this scheme i-Portunus will launch five open calls for artists, creators and cultural professionals with the topics of music, literary translation, architecture and cultural heritage between December 2020 and February 2021. For these open calls i-Porunus has dedicated a budget of 500.000€. The open calls are aimed to connect artists internationally all over Europe.
Composers, musicians and singers (preferably in classical music, jazz and traditional music genres) as well as literary translators can apply for short-term mobility in the context of international collaboration, a production-oriented residency or professional development until 28 February. The earliest date of departure is 1 June, the duration of the mobility must be between 7 and 60 days and must take place latest before 30 November 2021. The selected artists will geat each a max. grant of 3.000 €.
The open call with the topic of architecture will be open from 15 January to 15 March.
