Kunstwerk Carlshütte is a non-profit cultural initiative and organizes NordArt, which has been held annually since 1999. Each year the works of internationally renowned artists as well as newcomers are part of the exhibition.
The exhibition takes place in Germany’s northernmost state Schleswig-Holsten at the historic aisles of the iron foundry Carlshütte with their 22,000 square meters of ground area, the charming ACO Wagenremise and an 80,000 square meters sculpture park. NordArt counts about 100,000 visitors every summer.
The selection of artworks takes place until the end of February 2020 by a jury. A list of selected artists and special projects will be published on the NordArt website by the beginning of March 2020. All invited artists will be informed and asked to confirm their participation and to send the documents for the catalogue. The delivery of selected artworks is scheduled for the end of April.
