The European Youth Forum is the platform of youth organisations in Europe. The Forum represent 106 youth organisations, which bring together tens of millions of young people from all over Europe. The European Youth Forum is recruiting a Programme & Partnerships Officer to organise the Yo!Fest 2020. Deadline for applications is August 6th.

The European Youth Forum is the platform of youth organisations in Europe. The Forum represent 106 youth organisations, which bring together tens of millions of young people from all over Europe. The European Youth Forum is recruiting a Programme & Partnerships Officer to organise the Yo!Fest 2020. Deadline for applications is August 6th.

The Yo!Fest is part of the European Youth Event, which will take place at the beginning of June 2020 in Strasbourg, France. Yo!Fest @ the EYE is a two-day political festival designed for young people, by young people. It is the largest event of its kind, last year bringing together over 10,000 young people.

The Programme & Partnership Officer should continue to grow a network of partners and bring new ideas to develop a programme of over 120 activities. Among the tasks is to bring to life an attractive and interactive programme based on the work of the European Youth Forum and our partners and give input into the European Parliament’s programme by identifying opportunities for collaboration.

The candidate should have extensive professional experience of stakeholder management and engagement with NGOs, civil society organisations and the youth sector. Experience in working in a membership-based organisation is advantageous. Experience in working for EU funded projects is desirable as well as a strong understanding of EU affairs, the work of the institutions and the European political parties.
