The Review of the EUSBSR action plan aims to take stock of the current situation of the EUSBSR and provide analytical input to the European Commission concerning the revision of the Action Plan. The review is conducted in two parts. The thematic part looks at the relevance of the thematic areas currently covered by the EUSBSR. The second part of the review assesses the governance of the EUSBSR.
The results of the review are expected to be ready in late 2019. In order to collect widely the views and experience of all relevant stakeholders for the study, the European Commission has launched a survey of all the macro-regional stakeholders of the EUSBSR. The study is conducted by external consultancy COWI.
