Waterkant Festival goes virtual on 5 – 26 June

13.05.2020 |

This year's Waterkant Festival runs with a program of 100+ sessions and takes place as a creative, multifaceted online format with different dates and events.

Waterkant Festival connects the regional startup scene of Kiel and Schleswig-Holstein with international thinkers, makers and corporates to envision ideas and solutions for the challenges and transformations we face as a society. Waterkant does this with year round events like meetups, hackathons, an exhibition on new and futurous topics, and the already well known Waterkant Festival.

This year's festival goes virtual and takes place as a creative, multifaceted online format with different dates and events throughout the whole month of June. On each of the days online visitors can expect great sessions on great topics at different times: talks, workshops, panel discussions and, of course, wellbeing and music. From Monday to Thursday Waterkant will connect visitors' living rooms with those of the speakers. Some live sessions from the MFG5 festival area will also be streamed.

The organizers are working hard on the planned Waterkant exhibition on various future topics to make it a 360°-experience.

You can sign up for Waterkant's newsletter to get more information about the festival and open calls. Watch the video of #Waterkant19 with more than 150 talks/workshops, 70 startups and  1100 visitors from 16 countries.
