VISEGRAD SUMMER SCHOOL 8-21 July, Krakow, Poland – Call for participants

For the 6th time this year Villa Decius with the support of the International Visegrad Fund organise the Visegrad Summer School.
Its aim is to create a meeting place for young people (students, graduates, PhD researchers, young teacher and journalists) form the countries of Central and Eastern Europe in order to give them possibility of exchanging ideas in an alternative learning environment.
Seminars, lectures, workshops and debates organised in the frame of VSS will be held by experts related to economic, political and cultural issues. Additionally students working in the international groups are given a possibility to work on own projects aimed at furthering collaboration.
The educational course of the Summer School will be enriched with a social programme.
PRACTICAL INFO:
The accepted applicants are obliged to pay a registration fee of 30 EURO, as well as to pay the costs of travel and insurance. All other costs (lectures, workshops, materials, accommodation, full board, special events and local transportation in Krakow) will be covered by the organisers.
The potential participants are asked to send the following documents:
- a covering letter explaining how they would benefit from the School
- completed Application Form
- detailed CV
- testimonial or references

The deadline for applying is 30th April. The accepted applicants will be informed by May 31, 2007.
