THE CENTRE FOR MIDDLE EASTERN STUDIES – Call for partners
(2007 02 02 22:06)Existing since 2005 the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) in Prague is currently seeking a partner for the from Central and Eastern Europe to co-work on a quarterly academic journal dedicated to an academic analysis of contemporary international relations issues in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), from a Central and Eastern European perspective.
The publication would be a quarterly publication. It is supposed to be focused on contemporary international relations and political developments in the Middle East and North Africa from the Central and Eastern European perspective.
The language of publication would be English.
The publication should consist of 3 sections:
Section 1: 10 articles focusing on current international relations and
political events in MENA.
Section 2: Book reviews focusing on recent publications from MENA.
Section 3: Media review of events that had recently taken place in MENA.
Since April 2006 CMES is a member of the Anna Lindh Foundation as well as functions as the National Member of the European Association of Middle Eastern Studies.
CMES is a part of the Department of International Relations and European Studies at the University of Public Administration and International Relations, Czech Republic.
The deadline for partners is 28 February 2007.
