CALL FOR ENTRIES :: 16th Bremen Award for Video Art

The Annual Bremen Award for Video Art supports the production and presentation of two actual video art projects. Only concepts for audio-visual works can be submitted that have not been previously realised.

There will be two financial prizes awarded in the amount of: 
I. Prize: 4.000 EUR 
II. Prize: 1.000 EUR

The money is to support the realisation of the artistic concepts that should have their premiere in Bremen. Therefore the Film-Bureau is organising a final exhibition for the winners in Bremen in fall of 2008 at Kunsthalle, Neues Museum Weserburg Bremen or Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst.

Please notice that only video artists from the German-speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria...) and from Bremen's twin towns (Bratislava, Cherbourg-Octeville, Corinto, Dalian, Frederikshavn, Gdansk, Grimsby, Haifa, Izmir, Kaliningrad, Pori, Riga and Szczecin) are invited to apply.


PRACTICAL INFO:
The prizes will be awarded by an independent jury of experts.

Applications must be in German or English and each participant may submit only one concept.
Deadline for application (decides the postmark) is October 15th 2007.
