Nordic Prizes 2007

Every year the Nordic Council awards a literature prize, a music prize, a film prize and a nature and environment prize with the purpose to raise interest in the culture and ecology of the neighbouring countries. Each of the prizes is worth 350,000 Danish kroner. They will be presented to the winners during the Nordic Council Session in Oslo.
The Nordic Council’s Literature Prize 2007
has been awarded to the Swedish author Sara Stridsberg for 'The Dream Faculty' ('Drömfakulteten').

goes to he Eric Ericson Chamber Choir from Stockholm
the Nordic Council Nature and Environment Prize 2007
The City of Albertslund in Denmark has been named as the winner of the prize on the theme of the environmentally sustainable urban community.
the Nordic Council Film Prize 2007
The winning film is 'The Art of Crying' from Denmark (Peter Schønau Fog, director, Bo hr. Hansen, scriptwriter and Thomas Stenderup, producer)
