The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 approved by the European Commission

The first meeting of the Monitoring Committee will take place in Rostock on 14-15 February 2008. Decision about when the first call for project proposals is open will be taken at this meeting.
The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 was approved by the European Commission on 21 December 2007. You can download the Programme document here.
The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 consists in the cooperation of eleven countries around the Baltic Sea so that project partners work together to find joint solutions to common problems.
Transnational projects with partners from at least three different countries can apply for the Programme, which supports the following four priorities: Fostering innovations, Internal and external accessibility, Baltic Sea as a common resource and Attractive and competitive cities and regions.
The Joint Technical Secretariat will offer individual consultations for potential applicants at the Lead Applicant seminars that will take place shortly after the first call for project proposals is opened.
