Nordic Culture Point application rounds for 2009

The Nordic Culture Point application rounds for 2009 will open in January and February. This applies to Mobility funding, which will have four application rounds altogether in 2009, the first being in late January. Mobility funding enables art and culture professionals to gain new experience and initiate new partnership and projects by working or studying in another Nordic country.
Network support will have two rounds of applications in 2009. The first will be in spring, another one in autumn.
The Art and Culture programme will open the first (of two) round of applications in February. The projects supported by the programme include productions, capacity development, sharing knowledge and literature translations.
The first autumn round in 2008 resulted in 250 applications, mostly for the projects aiming at productions and communication, which means the projects financed by the Nordic Culture Point were mainly in the field of visual and performing arts.
2009 applications will be available on the Nordic Culture Point website when the right programme round opens and should be submitted electronically.
