“Winter festivities from different parts of the world” in Turku

The International Meeting Point has arranged the multicultural exhibition "Winter festivities from different parts of the world" with the participation of the Association Finland-Russia, the Finnish-Russian language classes at Puolalan koulu, the Finnish-Russian day care centre, the S.t Peterburg Association in Turku.
Various, interesting objects, decorations, photographs and drawings made by children are on display. Different shades of the New Year atmosphere in Russia are shown, while Aiju von Schöneman presents her collection of cribs.
The Iranians are celebrating a series of three festivities which originates from the Zoroastrianism.A table which is laid for the celebration of Nouruz is also on display.
Moreover, on display there are drawings of winter festivities made by children in the Spanish Children's Club at the International Meeting Point.
