Nordic Culture Point offers ‘mobility support’ (deadline: 10 Feb)
(2010 01 29 10:29)
The funding covers the accommodation expenses in the Nordic or in the Baltic countries for a maximum of 7 days. It is directed to professional artists from the Nordic and the Baltic countries working in all the fields of art and culture. Authors can apply for the grant as well as translators, producers, cultural researchers etc.
The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture prioritises project and research plans with a Baltic-Nordic relevance. It mainly aims on new constellations and initiatives. The grant is only for individuals, not for groups.
The programme does in principle not provide travel grants. Travel grants can only be given
a) for travels from the West Nordic region (the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland) to the other Nordic countries or vice versa,
b) for individuals residing in a Nordic or a Baltic country who want to travel from a Baltic country to a Nordic country or vice versa.
The deadline for application is Wednesday, 10 February 2010.
