Grannar/Sąsiedzi/Neighbours, 14 June – 31 August 2008; Blekinge county, Sweden
(2008 06 11 11:22)
Contemporary art from Poland will be shown in museums, art halls, galleries and cultural centres in the county of Blekinge, in Karlskrona, Ronneby and Karlshamn in Sweden during the summer of 2008.
The aim of the exhibition is to create networks, knowledge and interest for both Polish and Swedish art. The questions about artists being active co-creators of changes in the public space are going to be asked. Will they create new stories of the cities through their interventions?
The project is a co-operation between the Polish institute in Stockholm and Blekinge Museum ogether with Region Blekinge; Polska Ambassaden; Karlskrona Konsthall; Karlskrona kommun; Ronneby Kulturcentrum; Galleri Massma; Karlshamns Konsthall; Stena Line; Karlskrona konstförening; Karlshamns konstförening; Netport; Marinmuseum and Blekinge Institute of Technology.
