Registration to the 11th Baltic Development Forum Summit on 5-6 October in Stockholm is now open.

Baltic Development Forum is an independent non-profit network, gathering its memebers from large companies, major cities, institutional investors and business associations in the Baltic Sea Region. The Forum cooperates with various partners, such as businesses, governments, regional organisations, research and media institutions to promote the Baltic Sea Region internationally as a dynamic and competitive area.
Therefore the Forum helps to develop new initiatives and international contacts, and as a result, stimulates and supports growth and competitiveness in 11 countries of the Baltic Sea Region.
Now the Registration to the 11th Baltic Development Forum Summit 2009, which will take place in Stockholm on 5-6 October, is open.
The Summit is an opportunity to meet high-level decision makers, discuss important issues, influence European policies, expand your international network, update on regional and European trends, and develop business opportunities. This year Summit is arranged in cooperation with the Swedish EU-Presidency and will concentrate on the challenges facing the Baltic states to stay competitive. Many high level speakers from all over the Baltic Sea Region are expected. The following issues will be tackled: energy, environment, business, relations to Russia, and the current economic crisis. Moreover, the State of the Region Report will track the competitiveness of the Baltic Sea Region countries.
Special attention will be given to the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region to which ARS BALTICA provided its contribution as well. Read about the ARS BALTICA contribution.
