“The idea of residency has always been an integral part of the JazzBaltica philosophy. This year three ‘Artists in Residence’ will enable JazzBaltica to bring artists together in a special way, in unique projects and unusual encounters. 2007 will see three wonderful jazz musicians, Dave Douglas, Bobby Hutcherson and Joe Locke, coming to Salzau in order to realise precisely this idea,” says Rainer Haarmann, Artistic Director of JazzBaltica.
This year the festival is organised under the motto “trumpet vibes”.
