9th International Short Film Festival Tinklai, Lithuania, 31.08 - 07.10.2007

The festival was developed with the aim to establish a regular event in Vilnius and the Western Lithuania (Klaipëda, Kaunas, Panevëžys, Šiauliai and Alytus) which could attract varied audience and offer it an unconventional cinema festival.
A total of more than 190 memorable short films will be screened and meetings with the festival guests will take place.
The Special Guests of the festival are Adolfas Mekas and Pola Chapelle (both from theUSA). They will visit Vilnius and Klaipëda with retrospective screenings.
The audience will have an opportunity to vote for their favourite films. The three most popular ones will be awarded special prizes: Golden , Silver and Bronze Spectator respectively.
