36th ARS BALTICA Organising Committee Meeting :: 12-13 May 2008, Tallinn

The meeting was hosted by the Estonian Ministry of Culture and was led by Mr Gert Haack, ARS BALTICA Chairman. The participants rounded-up an ongoing debate on the network’s future. The common points and differences in the official standpoints of ARS BALTICA member states were discussed. The achieved common statement will be the basis for developing the thesis paper to be presented at the Ministerial Conference in Riga on 16-17 October 2008.
The Organising Committee Members also assessed project proposals and decide upongranting the logo to "Sounds of the North" Festival organised by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre in Gdańsk. Additionally, Mr Jobst Schlennstedt /ews group gmbH, Lübeck/ gave presentation on creative iIndustries as the chance for the Baltic Sea Region and Ms Anne von Petersdorff-Campen, ARS BALTICA intern, provided the results of her research on the networks activities.
