From the 18th to the 22nd April 2007 the 3rd folkBALTICA festival in Flensburg and the German-Danish region of Sønderjylland–Schleswig will once again be a mecca for friends of Nordic music. As this year’s focus country, Finland will be a special source of surprises and discoveries. The festival will be host to over 80 artists, from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and for the very first time also from Russia and Lithuania.

The main stage is located in the architecturally exciting “Alte Post” in Flensburg. The smaller venues around the Flensburg fjord are just as attractive and atmospheric.
Alongside the music, there will be workshops, talks, Finnish films, readings and an exhibition that will give additional insights into the culture of the Baltic Sea region.
