The deadline for sending applications is twice a year by 30th April and by 31st October
1. CRITERIA for projects applying for ARS BALTICA logo
• prioritizing projects with a broad participation from the Baltic Sea Region (at least 3 partners) which are also open to partners from other regions and continents
• putting in focus the identity and the cultural diversity of the Baltic Sea Region
• presenting projects of high quality
• paying attention to the current cultural and social processes in the Region
• encouraging artists and ideas considered as a driving force for the future
• stimulating exchange of artists and networking activities within small and medium size projects
2. PROCEDURE OF APPLYING
• the decision about granting the ARS BALTICA logo is made by AB Organising Committee Members (representatives of National Desks of the Baltic Sea countries) twice a year at the AB Meetings
• the application form can be downloaded from the AB portal (Download here)
• the application should be sent directly (no full budget needed) to the respective National Desk of the ARS BALTICA Organising Committee for its approval
• the deadline for sending applications is twice a year: by 15th April and 30th September
• the Secretariat checks the formal side of applications and spreads the proposals to all the AB Organising Committee Members at least14 days before the AB Organising Committee Meeting takes place
3. FINANCING
• The ARS BALTICA Organising Committee has not its own budget to finance AB projects, nevertheless, the Committee Members strive to raise funds for AB projects in different ways e.g. from the national budgets, contacting relevant institutions in charge of European programmes and other international bodies which might be interested in supporting the projects.
• All responsibility for financing lies with the specific Project Leader(s).
4. REGULATIONS FOR THE ARS BALTICA PROJECTS
• projects are granted with the AB logo for 2 years maximum;
• AB logo must be placed on all the promotional materials of the project (prints and website) Download here
• Project Leaders of events granted with the AB logo are obliged to update the Secretariat with the information about a current edition of the project minimum 2 months before the project takes place;
• Project Leaders are asked to send the project’s evaluations to the Secretariat and the respective National Desk until 15th October . In the case a project takes place after that deadline, the evaluation should be sent before the end of the year to the Secretariat. They will be displayed on internal site of the AB portal;
• after the 2-years’ term the Project Leader may apply for another term proving that during the time of holding the AB logo the project fulfilled the AB criteria.
5. EVALUATION
• the evaluation sheet can be downloaded from the AB portal (Download here)
• the evaluation should be sent to the Secretariat until 31st October. In the case of projects that take place after this deadline the evaluations should be sent till the end of the year
• the evaluation should be sent to the Secretariat and the respective National Desk after completing each edition of an event
• evaluations sent till 30th October should be spread by the Secretariat to all the AB Members, evaluations sent after that deadline will be displayed on the internal part of the AB portal until the end of a year
