Inside Out, EFAH annual conference and AGM at Fabryka Trzciny, Warsaw 8-11.11.2007.
(2007 09 18 15:08)The conference is organized by ARS BALTICA’s partner on the EU cultural scene, Europan Forum for the Arts and Heritage. The tone of the EFAH Inside Out 20007 conference in Poland will be experimental; it will be a dynamic and participatory event. An important focus for the conference will be the recently published European Commission document entitled ‘Communication on culture in a globalizing world’.
EFAH aims to broaden the context of their activism, and consider what really motivates and mobilizes cultural actors today at a European Level.
The "Café Confidential" sessions offer the ideal format to deliberate such issues as: "What are the real motivations of the cultural actors at a European level today?" and "Are the emerging issues such as migration and climate change relevant to the cultural sector?"
Two distinctive locations will provide the infrastructure for the debates and the musical digressions: the industrial settings of the innovative cultural centre Fabryka Trzciny and the ever-evolving, picturesque estate 'Karolin' that houses both the European Centre for the Promotion of Regional and National Culture and the famous folk dance company ‘Mazowsze’.
