New Publication of the Directorate of Culture, Cultural and Natural Heritage

The Directorate of Culture, Cultural and Natural Heritage has recently published a new bilingual brochure (in English and i French) briefly presenting its aims and its work which directly reflects the fundamental values and priorities of the Council of Europe.
The publication puts special emphasis on culture as a force of democracy in European societies, highlighting the practice of and respect for human rights. In the brochure the Directorate gives prominence to heritage, pursues cultural diversity and biodiversity policies and promotes a better cultural governance and openness to others. Last, but not least, it offers assistance, evaluation and cooperation.
